New Singers Welcome for 2010

We are currently looking for new singers to join us for our exciting season next year. In 2010 we shall be singing at Birmingham, Belfast and Blackburn Cathedrals and we have a very exciting trip in June to the Italian Alta Pusteria International Choir Festival on the border of Italy and Austria. This is an incredibly beautiful area where choirs from all around the world gather once a year to sing in the Churches, town halls and piazzas in the villages of the Pusteria Valley (some small groups even sing in the alpine huts further up the mountains !). It is not a competitive festival, the choirs come together to enjoy singing and to enjoy good company, this will be an amazing experience, not to be missed.

Our choir is a very friendly group of singers, we enjoy singing to the best of our ability but equally we enjoy socialising on our weekends away. Music should be enjoyed and whilst we are very keen to reach a high standard, we do have a lot of fun achieving it.

We are particularly encouraging sopranos and tenors to apply, but would also like to hear from others, regardless of which part they sing. You don’t have to have any experience of singing in a choir, just a voice that fits in with our choir, commitment and enthusiasm for the music.
