Although I do find this website quite useful, when ever I log on I hope to find some new events or happenings to catch up on. Mmmmmmmmh maybe there is much kicking off in Bingham. What ever the reason I do feel that more could be made of this website, does anyone else agree with me.

i kind of see what you are saying but Bingham isnt huge there arent events every week. Maybe more people just need to use what is already here?

There is no more to come unless they abandon the current business model -
"Local" Websites need 'useful content' to thrive and the trend towrds reactive, "feature rich - content poor" database models is normally the root cause.

Fact is running a prosperous local Website is hard work and involves bodies on the gorund - not in cyberspace....

There I`ve said it.. expect I`ll be banned now, but I mean well and would be delighted to assist with strategy if asked.

I'm sure there are ways of letting people know whats happening. There is a BUZZ magazine where events are advertised, where you get the magazine I dont know, but maybe the site organisers could write some up on here.
only last week one of the ladies at the toddler group mentioned an activity going off at the leisure centre for little ones. then there are story groups at the library apparently...but when?? when are the mother and toddler groups happening, swimming etc it would be useful to just click on here, rather than looking round for a booklet or leaflet with the info on.

Yes I agree, I love this website but more residents need to use it, its a great way for us to express our views.

I guess most people in Bingham don't know about this site. How about putting an article in the Buttercross advertising it and saying what goes on?
