The re-location from Market Street to Union Street in July 2004 moved Shapers in Bingham up to another level. It has grown profoundly from an inconspicuous market town salon to a resident phenomenon since 1995. The shear determination of achievements has built a small empire and a motivated team increasing Shapers work force from 5 part time team members in 1995 to 26 in 2008. From the beginning Shapers main priority was to provide local people a salon, with a city centre ambiance, by offering outstanding customer care and quality throughout its services and products. Obtaining ‘Investors in People’ and three ‘National Training Awards’ has enabled Shapers to become a well established, thriving local business with the help of an enthusiastic and motivated team.

Putting together in-salon training programs for the whole team over the past 13 years, has encouraged existing team to progress and stay with the company. This has provided a unique following and outside awareness through our reputation, with many people seeking employment at Shapers. By continually improving and updating the training system, sending all the team on motivation and professional courses including Wella Master Colour Diplomas which have provided 2 of our team members, Wendy and Linda with the highest standards of colouring techniques and the knowledge to pass on throughout the team. Having an understanding of the team’s career aspirations has given us loyalty and trust; essential requirements in any business.
