Every year the Radcliffe Shelter rehomes over 1,200 animals. Many of these have been neglected and abandoned onto the streets of Nottingham, left to fend for themselves in damp and freezing weather conditions.
While they are waiting for the right family to take them home, they are cared for by the dedicated staff at the Radcliffe Shelter. They receive any medical care they may need, from vaccinations to special diets to bring them back to full health.
We desperately need your help to keep the shelter running and continue its valuable work.
How can you help
We know that not everyone is able to keep an animal in their home. However, if you are thinking about getting a pet, we would be grateful if you would consider adopting an animal from the Shelter, rather than buying from an animal breeder. A diverse range of animals end up at Radcliffe, from puppies and kittens to older animals that would just love a companion. Call in to find out about our adoption procedure and to meet your new best friend!
Alternatively, if you would like to help the Shelter continue its valuable work in your local area, you may wish to make a donation.
